Lindsay, Stone & Briggs Chief Brand & Marketing Strategist Rick Stone was recently quoted in the Adweek article “Kicking the Figs out of Fig Newtons: How Nabisco solved its fruit filling identity crisis”. Commenting on the rebranding of the snack food away from the negative, outdated connotation of figs, Stone states that “you have to have a contemporary feel, and I’m not sure if figs fit that.”
