The Public Relations Society of America – Madison Chapter awarded Lindsay, Stone & Briggs a total of five awards at their 13th annual Alchemy Awards on October 22, 2014. The awards included two Awards of Excellence and three Awards of Merit for LSB’s work with clients Briggs & Stratton and TriCalm as well as one for their now meta award-winning Agency of the Year video.
Bringing home one Social Media Tactic Award of Excellence was LSB’s work on Briggs & Stratton’s first ever Facebook video contest: Mower Mouth which also won a national Shorty award earlier this year. Hundreds of fans submitted videos, allowing Briggs & Stratton’s Facebook presence to grow in a light-hearted yet authentic way.
Another Award of Excellence was also for work on Briggs & Stratton. In the PR Media Relations Tactic category, LSB was awarded for driving media coverage in publications like the New York Times and Wall Street Journal for the client’s innovations.
LSB’s celebratory self-promotional video for this summer’s Agency of they Year designation won a Tactical Multimedia Award of Merit. LSB also was honored with a Social Media Tactic Award of Merit for Blogger Outreach to promote anti-itch cream TriCalm. And for Briggs & Stratton, the agency also won a Social Media Tactic Award of Merit for their work on the Powersmarts Blog.
