Associate Media Director

Creative agency located in Madison, WI looking for a media ideas person with a strong strategic and analytical focus who will help us “jumpstart” opportunities for our clients’ brands in both traditional and non-traditional media. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the consumer and their relationship with all forms of media (especially digital).  And know how and when to best engage and impact the consumer in their daily life beyond the traditional approach of reach and frequency.

 

As a key member of the team, this person will be an energetic and exhaustive contributor of disruptive ideas, someone who takes responsibility for generating insights, a trend spotter, and an effective communicator and presenter.  Full service agency background is preferred. This is a great opportunity for an individual to continue their career development into a Media Director level position.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in media strategy development
  • Broad understanding of local and national media
  • 5-7 years media planning experience with a consumer brands focus
  • 3-5 years interactive experience implementing digital campaigns including:
    o    Behavioral & geo targeting
    o    Social/viral media tactics
    o    Understanding of various forms of digital outreach
    o    Web Analytics (Omniture, Web Trends)
    o    Campaign success measurement & reporting
  • Facility with media research & planning tools including:
    o    Nielsen
    o    AdRelevance
    o    Forrester
    o    MRI/SMRB
    o    Delivery Tools
