Stealing the Show: LSB Develops Traffic-stopping Trade Show Booth Graphics for Callisons Fine Foods

MADISON, Wis. - Following a successful product launch supported only by public relations, Seattle-based Callisons Fine Foods enlisted Madison, Wisconsin-based Lindsay, Stone and Briggs (LSB) to create trade show graphics, signage and messaging for Seasoned Skewers, wooden skewers infused with essential oils that flavor food from the inside out. The challenge: LSB needed to capture how Seasoned Skewers make cooking fun and easy.

"Seasoned Skewers are a fairly new product, so we figured we needed something that broke through the clutter and at the same time gave people a little of the feeling you get when you cook with the skewers," said Bill Winchester, LSB's VP/Creative Director. "In other words, if they make the cooking experience fun, easy and flavorful then you should have the same experience looking at the messaging."

With irreverent, playful headlines such as "Tastes like the cows got into the bourbon again," "More shish per kabob" and "Try a little breast augmentation," the trade show graphics and signage caught the eyes of trade show attendees during the Winter 2007 Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, as well as during the Spring 2007 Home & Housewares Show in Chicago.

"The updated booth and LSB-created graphics have really paid off," said Damon Smith, President of Callisons Fine Foods. "We are now projecting an image we want to our most important customers. Our products are all about adding spice and flavor, and this creative really captures that spirit."
