Innovative Print Campaign for Michael Best & Friedrich Bucks Traditional Law Firm Advertising
MADISON, Wis. - In a category where
advertising campaigns tend to blend together and convey similar functional
messages, Madison, Wis.-based Lindsay, Stone & Briggs delivered a campaign
that stood out from the rest for Midwestern-based law firm Michael Best &
Friedrich, LLP.
"Michael
Best takes an innovative approach to tackling their clients' legal challenges,"
said Bill Winchester, LSB's Creative
Director. "So, we created a campaign featuring metaphors in which Michael Best
is the essential instrument that allows their clients to achieve their business
goals."
The
campaign features images of athletes missing a key piece of equipment, such as
a rower without oars. Copy asks the reader to imagine a rower without the oars
and describes how Michael Best's innovative thinking can be the "oars" a
business needs to succeed. Other executions show a rock climber without a rope
and a pole-vaulter without a pole (pictured below).
