Love Smoothies? Yeah, we do too. Wish there was a way to have everything you needed in one package? Us too. So when our partner Sunrise Growers was launching an in-store push of their smoothie line of products with a significant retail partner (rhymes with hall-cart) we were all over it.

Without a significant budget to work with, LSB was charged with launching a brand, inspiring coupon downloads and acquiring and engaging new customers in a way that stood out in an already saturated food & beverage marketplace. Our approach centered on a Facebook brand presence designed to delight consumers with an initial free coupon campaign and kept them engaged through entertaining fruit facts, nutrition information and product images. In addition to our free coupon offer and enticing content, we also implemented a targeted advertising campaign through Facebook ads. The combination of relevant ad support and engaging posting content were the perfect ingredients to attract users to go to the Facebook page and once there, get immersed in the content and return regularly to converse.

In May of 2012 7million people saw Sunrise Grower’s ads and tens of thousands of customers engaged with the brand producing a peak engagement rate of 24% with an average weekly reach of more than 400,000 people. The fan base grew from just 38 fans to close to 13,000. Within seconds of posting there would be 5-10 comments and/or likes. To top it off, the coupon download goal was exceeded by 126% increasing the customer-marketing database by over 200%. Now that’s one smooth product launch.
